Our Core Values

Service

In Galatians 5 Paul reminds us that when we place our hope and faith in Christ, He makes us free to serve one another in love. As such, we believe that every member of our congregation should, out of love, seek to serve their family, their community, and their church.

sacrifice

We believe that Scripture is clear in its expression that true love and service cannot be achieved without sacrifice. In fact, Jesus reminds us of this very thing in John 15:13-14 when He said, "This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." Whether it means sacrificing our time, our talents, or any other aspect of our lives- true love means being willing to lay down and sacrifice whatever it takes to help those around us grow closer to Christ.

Stewardship

We believe that every member of the body of Christ has a special role to play within our church family. As such, as Peter calls us to do in 1 Peter 4:10, we need to be good stewards of our God-given roles and talents. This means living up to our obligations with our family, our community, and our church by serving each of them in a Christ-like, sacrificial way.
